Four more hours to go.....

...and the interim, Vista is giving me troubles.

I've had to turn off the System Event Notification Service (SENS) - if I power up/login with SENS turned on, I get the message
System Event Notification Service service [sic] failed the logon.

An attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist.
I've googled around, and the only thing I found was to turn off the SENS, but the issue with that is there are a lot of very crucial things I can't do without SENS. Like use the tablet features of the laptop or use Windows Explorer (it won't run at all). Even if I turn SENS on manually, it won't work. DAMMIT.

Anyway - any ideas, y'all? I've powercycled multiple times, just hoping it would fix itself, but that's a no go.
